About Cybersecurity Situational Awareness

The Cybersecurity Situational Awareness Training Platform is an interactive, scenario-based learning experience designed to build real-world security judgment. Rather than relying on passive slide decks or static videos, the platform immerses learners in realistic cybersecurity situations — suspicious emails, fake websites, malicious QR codes, vishing calls, social engineering attempts, and more — and asks them to analyze the evidence, make a decision, and receive immediate, detailed feedback on their reasoning.

The platform is built for any organization or individual that needs practical, measurable cybersecurity awareness training. It serves employees, contractors, students, and security teams who must recognize and respond to evolving threats. Content spans twelve security domains — from Social Engineering and Identity & Access to Incident Response, Insider Threat, and AI & Emerging Technology — with randomized scenario selection, randomized question banks, interactive games in the Decision Lab, and a full final assessment that issues a completion certificate. Progress tracking, XP, levels, and badges keep learners engaged, while administrators gain visibility through compliance reporting and phishing simulation tools.

The platform is developed and maintained by LTEC with Lance, a training provider focused on practical cybersecurity education. The curriculum emphasizes hands-on decision-making over memorization, so learners leave with the judgment and reflexes needed to recognize threats in the real world.
